Tony Romo Leads Cowboys to 4 Wins in a Row: Dallas Defeats Houston Texans 20-17

Jerry Jones is doing his happy dance right now. His Dallas Cowboys are 4-1 after dropping their season opener to San Francisco. Even though he has publicly stated that he wished he had drafted Johnny Manziel, Jones has got to be happy about franchise quarterback Tony Romo's four wins in a row under center. He and Dez Bryant connected 9 times for 85 yards and a touchdown in Dallas's hard fought victory over the Houston Texans 20-17.

One of the things that Romo noticed about their home game victory was how many Houston fans were there. The crowd was apparently so loud that Dallas reportedly had to resort to a silent count at one point (via ESPN):

"No question today we played on the road throughout a lot of it. It was probably half and half our fans to their fans. I don't know what it was, more than you can just tell with the crowd noise."

Houston came close to snapping the Cowboys' winning streak, but kicker Dan Bailey scored the game-winning field goal in overtime.

J.J. Watt, the heart and soul of the Texans' defense, expressed his disappointment following the thrilling conclusion of the game (via CBS Sports):

''Football is a brutal game. It's brutal on your body. It's brutal on your emotions. To fight back the way we did, to show that resilience, it was good to see. But at the end of the day, we lost the game.''
