After months of planning and reportedly spending over $10 million on the wedding, Hollywood's most eligible bachelor has finally married London lawyer Amal Alamuddin. According to the latest gossip news updates, Batman's new wife is furious that some of his old friends pulled no-shows at their otherwise ridiculously star studded event. Word has it that right now Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are all virtually persona non-grata at the Clooneys' next big public get together.
Thankfully for all involved, George Clooney's over-the-top celebrity wedding to Amal Alamuddin went off without a hitch, but there were a very noticeably vacant seats at the party.
One of the very lucky guests told Star Magazine for their October 13, issue that the ceremony seemed as heart felt as any they had ever seen:
"George wrote his vows into a poem and had tears in his eyes as he read them...[while] Amal spoke about the memories they had made and how excited she was for their future together."
That being said--a secret insider told the publication that Amal wasn't exactly satisfied with how the entire wedding turned out:
"Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston all backed out at the last second.
"George didn't mind so much, but Amal found it to be incredibly rude, especially coming from Brad, who George cares so much for."
Whatever the couple excuse for not showing up. It can't be that they didn't have time to get the newlyweds a gift before the ceremony.
The incomparable, one-of-a-kind living legend that is Bill Murray told one TMZ reporter in Scotland that the Clooneys asked all their guests not to buy them anything:
"You don't buy them anything.
"No...you don't buy them anything.
"You're asked to bring anything and you are asked to leave without..you know. You're asked not to bring anything."
Really what more would you ask of Bill Murray other than his preternatural presence?
