There's been a lot of news encapsulating Katherine Jenkins' latest nuptials to American filmmaker Andrew Levitas, and to keep her prolificacy alive as a "classical crossover" artist, she will make an appearance at SubCulture from October 9-11.
Having signed the world's largest classical recording contract in history — an $8.8 million three-album deal with Warner Music Group in 2003 — she has been heralded by U.K. listeners as a fan favorite.
While spending most of her time touring the world, it's a rare occurrence to get an exclusive night with Jenkins in a very intimate setting. Having performed with heavyweights like Andrea Bocelli, Plácido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa it will be a night to remember.
Having changed recording labels, Katherine marks her 10th anniversary in the music industry with a new signing to Decca records, legendary classical music recording label and returning to her classical roots.
A most popular artist coming from across the pond, An Evening with Katherine Jenkins premieres at the NYC-dwelling SubCulture on Thursday, October 9 and continues until the 11. Doors are at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.
Tickets can be found here and begin at $35 for advance tickets/$40 at the door.
It should be a night not worth missing.
