30 Rock star and Saturday Night Live vet Tracy Morgan may never perform again. The actor was severely injured when a Wal-Mart tractor trailer truck slammed into his limo. Now Morgan’s lawyer has opened up about future in the business. Does this mean that Morgan’s FXX series with It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia creators, Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton, might be cancelled?
Tracy Morgan’s lawyer Benedict Morelli was recently asked if the Saturday Night Live vet will ever performing again, where he responded (via Page Six):
“The jury’s still out. The doctors don’t know the answer. I don’t know the answer.”
While, the jury might still be out on Morgan’s career, but the gang from It’s Always Sunny In Philidelphia are keeping his seat open for him over at FXX. Always Sunny stars and creators, Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton were scheduled to produce Tracy Morgan’s series FX spin-off channel FXX. After news of the Morgan’s crash was announced, FX Networks released a statement about the fate of his series, telling the press:
“The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident. We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery. At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him. Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families.”
