ABC ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 11 Cast Spoilers: Ellen Pompeo Secret Baby Born; Retires? [PHOTO UPDATE]

Ellen Pompeo, star of ABC's hit primetime medical drama, Grey's Anatomy, announced that she had secretly had a second baby with husband, Chris Ivery, just days after the year's Season 11 premiere. Unfortunately for fans, Ellen may soon be done with acting all together, according to the latest gossip news updates. Spoilers: the Meredith Grey actress claims that she is over making her money by pretending for a living, but promises that she isn't 100 percent sold on retiring, just yet.

One thing is without question--Grey Anatomy starlet Ellen Pompeo and her music producing hubby, Chris Ivery, sure know how to keep as secret.

Much like their top secret wedding back in 1997, all of a sudden Ellen Pompeo announced today via Instagram and Twitter, that there will be one more little face on their Christmas cards this year.

"Sienna May Ivery welcome to the world. We love you more than words can say."

The second baby makes sense, being that these days Pompeo is far more into playing mom than she is Meredith Grey.

During a discussion last month hosted by BuzzFeed, Ellen explained that while she is ultimately very happy that she took the role as Meredith Grey 11 years ago, she will be more than happy to retire from acting completely once she takes off her old white lab coat for the last time (via Us Weekly):

"I definitely don't have a strong desire to act after Grey's,

"I definitely feel myself transitioning...I don't find acting terribly empowering. For the place I am in my life... I don't necessarily want to work for other people."

To be fair, Ellen did warn us in Allure back in 2008, when she gave birth to daughter Stella Luna, that she planned on starting the process of making some big changes in her life and within herself (via US Weekly):

"It's a huge lifestyle change, and I take that very seriously.

"[Chris and I] enjoy our life so much. We go to Europe and sleep in.

"So when I have the baby, I won't feel like we've missed any fun, reckless times together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon."

Well...nothing good ever lasts--just ask Isiah Washington.
