Disney Channel ‘Jessie’ New Night & Time: Debby Ryan Talks Directing and Never Ending Before Halloween Episode [SPOILERS]

Tonight, the hit Disney Channel series Jessie. is all new at a special time and date. The show’s is airing a special Halloween episode along with several other Disney Channel show. Jessie star Debby Ryan is also a triple threat, singing and directing in addition to acting. Ryan recently opened up about directing, and making music and her band, The Never Ending success on the rock charts, making their way into the top five on iTunes with their new e.p. One.

The plot synopsis for the all new Halloween themed episode, titled “The Runaway Bride of Frankenstein,” reads:

“A Halloween festival takes a scary turn when Brooks proposes to Jessie, and she learns that none of the kids like him.”

Debby Ryan recently stepped behind the camera to direct an episode of Jessie. Ryan recently spoke to Bello magazine, about making the switch to director (Just Jared Jr.):

“Since I was on Suite Life, I had been shadowing directors because I’m nosey. All the things that get you in trouble as a kid are the things that make you successful in life. At least that’s what I’m going for. I started shadowing directors, and I fell in love with it. They started really lobbying on my half, which I was so thankful for.”

Ryan’s band, The Never Ending’s new E.P., One, is climbing up the iTunes Rock charts. Debby also spoke with Bello about having to struggle to make the music she wanted to make:

“Everyone’s always like, ‘Oh so you’re doing music. Disney must be making you do music.’ And I’m like, ‘No, actually.’ I’ve had to fight really hard, against everyone, not just Disney and Hollywood Records. I’ve had to fight hard to make sure too many people don’t get to weigh in on my personal brand. Everything has been subject to everyone’s opinion, and music is the thing that I need to be spearheading. Having people fight for me, and being in the trenches with good people, helps. When I said I wanted to direct, Disney helped me do that. It feels good knowing that people are taking a chance on building a woman out of me.”

Check out the all new episode of Jessie tonight at 9:30 p.m. on The Disney Channel
