Jesse Spencer ‘Chicago Fire’ New ‘Law & Order: SVU’ and ‘Chicago PD’ Crossover Episode Announced After Gay Shay Lauren German Death [SPOILERS] [2014]

Last year we saw a special two-part crossover, between Chicago PD and Law & Order: SVU. Now NBC is going for a three way, announcing that Jesse Spencer’s Chicago Fire will join in the fun, this time around. It is no wonder that Chicago Fire was added to the lineup this year. The series becoming one of the hottest shows on the network. The show recently kicked off it’s third season by killing off lesbian paramedic, Shay (Lauren German).

Forget about The Simpsons and Family Guy, the real crossover event of the year is going to be on NBC. Dick Wolf is bringing his three shows together for one epic event, spanning Three hours over the course of two different nights.

Creator Dick Wolf released a statement about the crossover to the press, reading (via E! News)

"Warren Leight (SVU showrunner) and Matt Olmstead (Chicago Fire/Chicago PD showrunner) are two of the best writers in the business. We wanted to figure out a way to create a crime that connects all three shows. Warren, Matt and I came up with a story that was big and unique enough to transit to all three."

The crossover is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Nov 12, with Chicago Fire and stretch over in following night on Law & Order: SVU, at 9:00 p.m. and end on Chicago PD at 10:00 p.m.
