“Going to the Chapel and I am going to get”.....kidnapped. That tune was undoubtedly going through the head of Richard Castle as he was being taken hostage on his wedding day during the Season 6 finale of ABC’ Castle. Now the hit Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Dr. Horrible) series returns with premiere of Season 7.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Castle, titled “Driven,” reads:
“In the seventh-season opener, Beckett embarks on her hardest case as she waits at the scene of Castle's accident and learns details about the car crash.”
tthe official Castle Twitter and ABC.com preview a dratic scene from the new season:
“What happened after Beckett found #Castle's car in flames? Catch a glimpse in this Season 7 Sneak Peek:”
David Amann, the sereis’ showrunner, opened up to TV Guide about how soon we will find out what happened to Castle:
“After the second episode, the audience will have some but not all of the answers about what exactly is going on. It's a sufficient amount [of resolution] that the characters can move and get back to life as they knew it, but the effects of what happened to Castle will re-emerge and re-assert themselves later in the season."
Castle returns to the air on tonight, at 10:00 p.m. on ABC.
