Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins has officially tied the knot with American filmmaking beau Andrew Levitas. The couple celebrated their nuptials at Hampton Court Palace in London on Saturday night.
Reverend Stephen J. Ryan, from Jenkins' hometown in Neath, Wales, conducted the service. The couple also reportedly held both a Christian and Jewish ceremony, receiving blessings from both sides.
The couple fell into the limelight when they started dating last October. News of their relationship came in March and fans were thrilled of the budding romance. Jenkins was previously engaged to TV presenter Gethin Jones.
She posted her statement to Twitter, where the singer, 34, thanked her followers by saying, "Thank you for all your love & support. It's already been such a special day & wanted to share my happiness with you."
The wedding was apparently quite lavish. Guests were treated to a wedding breakfast of Welsh produce as well as entertained by a harpist.
A wedding for the ages, we congratulate the couple and wish them the best.
Also, Jenkins will be stopping by a Classicalite favorite hotspot, SubCulture, for three nights. Performances are Oct. 9-11 and begin at 8:00 P.M. (tickets are $35 in advance).
Until then, here's Jenkins in iConcert.
