It's been a big few months for Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who the tabloids repeatedly claim is pregnant. Following rumors that Ryan and Blake may be getting a divorce, the couple received a bit of good news. Fans are calling for Ryan to resume his role as Deadpool, and Blake's keen sense of fashion is earning her praise.
While no official announcement has been made, it looks like Ryan Reynolds could once again portray Marvel character Deadpool. Not only has the actor filled the role of Deadpool in the past, but video footage leaked online of Ryan doing a test for the film.
The film may not have its title character cast yet, but that didn't stop the studio from announcing the film's release date. According to E! News, the movie will come out early 2016:
"The long rumored X-Men spinoff has been given a release date of Feb. 12, 2016...It's likely that Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role, although no deal is set. Tim Miller will direct the Marvel Comics movie...Reynolds played human Wade Wilson in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine (co-starring Hugh Jackman), while actor Scott Adkins played Deadpool after Wilson was transformed into a fast-healing mercenary."
Ryan's not the only one making headlines this week. That distinction also belongs to his lovely wife, Blake Lively.
The beautiful actress was recently named to People's annual Best Dressed list. This was clearly an honor for Lively, who happens to take her fashion seriously.
According to Blake, Lively's style has a lot to do with her not having a stylist:
"It's such a passion of mine. That's the reason I don't have a stylist, not because I think I can do it better than any of these people, but because I just love it so much that it would be like handing over something...It would be like making a cake and then handing it off to someone else to ice and decorate...Why would you do that?"
What do you think about the latest statements? Is Blake's style perfect, or could she benefit from hiring a stylist? Are you excited that Ryan might portray Deadpool in the standalone movie?
