Noche de Pasion 2013 will be held at The Residence of the Ambassador of Brazil celebrating the establishment of The Washington Ballet's Latino Scholarship Fund.
The Washington Ballet which serves the nations' capital and its community for over 66 years announces the formation of The Washington Ballet's Latino Scholarship Fund. The fund will be launched at the evening Noche De Pasion 2013 will be held.
The goal of The Washington Ballet's Latino Scholarship Fund is to provide important resources and opportunities for Latinos to pursue dance career as well as to develop Latino-themed ballet works, among others.
Noche De Pasion 2013 will be held this weekend, Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 7:30pm to 1:30am. The evening will start with a VIP reception with Ambassador Vieira, Artistic Director Septime Webre, followed by Carnaval celebration.
To celebrate Noche De Pasion 2013, The Residence of the Ambassador of Brazil located on Massachusetts Ave, Washington, DC, will be transformed into bright colors of Rio de Janeiro. Carnival will feature performers such as Brazilian Carnaval Queen Zezeh along with samba dancers, DJ Pitch One, and Brazilian cuisine won't be missing either.
