It would seem that Ariana Grande has many haters besides just Mayim Bialik from the Big Bang Theory. Day time talk show host Wendy Williams recently attacked Grande's voice on behalf of Mariah Carey--letting the former Disney star that she doesn't have anything on the "Butterfly" singer, who is currently said to be divorce Nick Cannon in a very public split. Feeling extra generous, the wigged wonder went on to defend Taylor Swift's irrational fear of phones, Sofia Vergara's sexy bikini filled wardrobe and even Real Housewives of Orange County star Vikki Gunvalson's decision to charge her boyfriend rent.
Before Ariana Grande gets it anymore twisted, Wendy Williams is ready to set her straight about how she stacks up compared to a true diva like Mariah Carey.
In her September 29, contribution to Life & Style, Williams called out Grande's ridiculous behavior as well as her inflated ego:
"Ariana Grande needs a reality check.
"She and her management have allegedly implemented a strict rule that no one can ask her about Mariah Carey, to whom she is commonly compared for her vocal range.
"Listen up, Ariana: You are no Mariah Carey...Little Miss Ariana is replaceable.
"Ariana's ego seems to be much bigger than her career at this point."
As harsh as all that sounds, it is still better than Mayim Bialik's recent accusations that Grande's promotional photos for her new album, make Ariana look like a desperate stripper or a prostitute (via Huffington Post):
"There is one [billboard] for Ariana Grande, and I will go ahead and admit I have no idea who she is or what she does.
"Based on the billboard, she sells lingerie. Or stiletto heels. Or plastic surgery because every woman over 22 wishes she has that body, I'm sure."
Wendy also defended Taylor Swift's revelations that she seemingly needs to be put on anti-psychotics, because chances are Williams needs them too:
"[Taylor Swift] recently admitted that she's scared her phone calls are being wiretapped.
"As a public figure myself, I feel the paranoia, too, sometimes."
Wendy also applauded Vicki Gunvalson for reportedly charging her live-in boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, rent to stay with her in her California mansion:
"Stingy? Not at all. I applaud Nicki's decision.
"I'd ask my man to contribute to the household too. You go, girl!"
No we can probably all agree that Ariana Grande is eventually going to have to be stopped...but thinking that anyone other than the government, internet hackers or Rupert Murdock is listening to your voice mails is pretty weird not matter what Wendy says.
