Rumors that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds may be getting a divorce have waned in recent weeks. Aside from a few pregnancy claims, most of the buzz they've generated comes from their professional lives. A new Ryan Reynolds movie got its official release date, while L'Oreal released a new ad featuring the beautiful Blake Lively.
Much to the delight of ladies everywhere, Ryan Reynolds should be back on the big screen in no time. According to multiple reports, Ryan could be featured in an upcoming superhero movie.
Deadpool is scheduled to be released on February 16, 2016 and there's a good chance that Reynolds will be in the film. After all, he already played the character in another major blockbuster, as Yahoo Movies tells readers:
"Deadpool-a mercenary superhero with a huge following among comic-book fans-is finally getting his own movie. Marvel Comics and 20th Century Fox just announced that the project is an official 'go,' and set a release date of Feb. 16, 2016...The wisecracking but amoral hero-for-hire was played by Ryan Reynolds in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine--and the actor is reportedly in talks to reprise the role in this project."
Not to be outdone, Blake Lively has been garnering a good bit of attention herself. L'Oreal, the world famous cosmetics company, has hired Blake as part of their "Pure Reds" marketing campaign.
The campaign, which also features Eva Longoria, Liya Kebede and Julianne More (among others), is designed to showcase new lipstick shades.
According to The Independent, L'Oreal has a perfect shade of red for every woman:
"The campaign launches four new lipstick shades, each named after one of the campaign models: Eva's is a brick red shade, Liya's is an orange-tinged theatrical shade, Blake's a darker berry shade and Julianne's is vermillion red."
It looks like things couldn't be going better for the couple, who was rumored to be divorcing just a few short months ago.
What do you think about the recent revelations? Do you think that Ryan will be resuming the role of Deadpool? What did you think about his past performance? Does celebrity endorsement of a product like lipstick make you more inclined to purchase it?
