Rumors have been flying that Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Rob Kardashian could have a secret love child. But it now seems that his recent baby mama comment was just a big fat lie to get the press from talking about his weight gain and reported drug use.
It's no secret that Rob Kardashian has had a pretty rough year. The reality-star-turned-recluse has been open about his depression and his struggles with weight.
The former playboy has grown increasingly withdrawn from his fame-obsessed family, even leaving his big sister's summer wedding before Kim could say, "I do."
Rob's battles have been very public, and that spotlight is why many are suggesting that Rob intentionally mislead the media on Thursday, when the E! star tweeted, "Was with my baby momma tonight."
But TMZ isn't buying it. They tell readers that Rob's tweet was an effort to keep tabloids from reporting about his weight and alleged drug use:
"Rob Kardashian is NOT a daddy...he's intentionally punked the media ...watching the lies spiral out of control online...there is no baby mama and no baby...It's an interesting strategy...Rob's been taking heat for his weight and substance abuse. Not a bad diversionary tactic."
Of course, this isn't Rob's first tweet about having a child. Several times in the past, Rob has "joked" about having a lovechild on Twitter.
Reports first surfaced, however, in the tabloids. Back in December, Star reported that Rob definitely had a son.
One source tells the publication that Rob is open about having a child to his friends:
"Rob had a get-together at his apartment, and some people noticed a teddy bear on his bed. They asked him why he had it, and he said that it was a present for his son...The possibility that Rob may have a child has been the buzz in the Kardashian circle for a while, but no one knows for sure. And no one will talk about it."
What do you think about the latest developments? Is there any truth to rumors that Rob has a child? If not, is Rob intentionally deceiving the media, in an effort to keep tabloids from reporting about his weight gain? Do you think everyone should just cut Rob a break?
