'Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 New Episode Spoilers: Tom Mison's Ichabod Crane Talks Sin Eater John Noble Horseman of War Revelation

SPOILER ALERT: It is finally here! At last the long-awaited return of Fox’s breakaway hit Sleepy Hollow premieres tonight. The Horseman of War.

The official plot synopsis for tonight's Season 2 premiere of Sleepy Hollow reads

“In the Season 2 premiere, Ichabod is buried alive in a coffin; Abbie's in danger of spending an eternity in purgatory; Katrina is a reluctant guest of the Headless Horseman; Capt. Irving is in jail on a murder charge; and Jenny is in a car accident.”

When you last left Sleepy Hollow, we learned that The Sin Eater, Henry Parish (John Noble was really Ichabod Crane’s son Jeremy Crane, A.K.A. The Horseman of War.

Earlier in the year, Ichabod Crane actor,Tom Mison, opened up to TV Guide about what War is up to this season,as reported in the Mega Buzz column:

"He's trying to break up the entire community of Sleepy Hollow to pave the way for the apocalypse. How best to do that? He masquerades as a lawyer. He becomes a respectable member of society and starts planting seeds of doubt."

In a later interview, Mison added:

“Do you appeal to your son? Or do you fight the Horseman of War?"

Sleepy Hollow returns with the premiere of its second season tonight at 9:00 p.m. on Fox.
