Johnny Manziel Blings Out Heisman Trophy with New Rolex Watch after First NFL Snaps [INSTAGRAM]

Johnny Football is back to taking ostentatious pictures and flaunting his wealth on Instagram. Happy days are here again. Just days after his first taste of regular season action, Manziel blinged out his Heisman trophy with a new Rolex watch. He took a few snaps last week against New Orleans, mostly to ease him into real game experience rather than dropping him feet first into the fire.

Manziel is pretty fly for a white guy. Not many dudes could get away with name dropping their buddy Drake like that without getting an earful of trash talk. But then again, not many dudes have Heisman trophies (via USA Today):

"'The boy' is how rapper Drake narrowly avoids referring to himself in the third person by name multiple times on his newest album, Nothing Was The Same. The most notable use of this came on his single, 'Worst Behavior' where Drake raps, 'Always hated the boy, but now the boy is the man, [expletive] I done grown up.'"

The decision to play Manziel was a multi-faceted strategy. First, it allowed him to get over the jitters. But beyond that, coach Mike Pettine got to see how defenses reacted to him.

The Browns let it be known that they had implemented some sort of Johhny Package which forced teams to prepare for his free-wheelin' Texas A&M style (via Cleveland Browns.com)

"It was good to get the nerves off, shake a little rust off and get out there and run around for a second... Every scenario I keep getting out there, I get more and more comfortable with... I need to be ready at any given moment. [The package plays] give you more of a mental focus and a mental edge than just going in and making yourself just kind of practice [plays]."
