SPOILER ALERT: ABC’s hit crime-drama, Castle is gearing up for the premiere of its seventh season. An official preview scene for the return episode of the hit Nathan Fillion (Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, Firefly) series. When we last off, Castle was abducted on his wedding day. Now, the network is offering viewers a sneak peek at the moments following the shocking end to Season 6.
The official Castle Twitter and ABC.com preview a dratic scene from the new season:
“What happened after Beckett found #Castle's car in flames? Catch a glimpse in this Season 7 Sneak Peek:”
The official plot synopsis for the Season 7 premiere episode of Castle, titled “Driven,” reads:
“In the seventh-season opener, Beckett embarks on her hardest case as she waits at the scene of Castle's accident and learns details about the car crash.”
Castle showrunner David Amann opened up to TV Guide about how soon we will find out what happened to Castle:
“After the second episode, the audience will have some but not all of the answers about what exactly is going on. It's a sufficient amount [of resolution] that the characters can move and get back to life as they knew it, but the effects of what happened to Castle will re-emerge and re-assert themselves later in the season."
Castle returns to the air on Monday, September, 29 at 10:00 p.m. on ABC.
