ABC’s Once Upon A TIme Season 4 is just around the corner. This year a few characters from Disney’s Snow Queen adaptation, Frozen, is heading to Storybrooke. However, it is the seasons mysterious villain Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, Revolution) that is keeping everybody guessing.
Recently, Once Upon A Time co-executive producer, Adam Horowitz, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Elizabeth Mitchell role in Season 4:
“For the first time, we’re showing a villainous side to Elizabeth Mitchell. There’s a dark side that Elizabeth is accessing and she’s doing so in chilling fashion.”
In a separate report, Horowitz spoke to Entertainment Weekly about just how much of the Frozen universe that the series will take on:
“We’re trying to walk the line between what feels appropriate for our show or inappropriate. What we want to do is make loving nods to the movie and things that are iconic, but we don’t want to do it in a way where we’re making Elsa say catchphrases for the sake of it. We want it to feel organic to the show and also want gives fans of Frozen payoffs to the thing that they love most. Our hope is that if you watch, you’ll see that there are nods to many things from the movie as well.”
