USA New Medical Drama ‘Rush’ Season 1 Finale Preview: ‘Dr Who’ Tom Ellis Talks Dark Doctor [SPOILERS]

Tonight the new USA, dark medical, drama Rush is all new tonight with the Season finale of its first season. The series star’s Doctor Who vet Tom Ellis, as a doctor who is battling with his own demons, including addiction. Check out the report below to see what is in store for the series.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled "Bitter Sweet Symphony," reads:

“Rush struggles to make life changes for Sarah, but continues to be haunted by the ghost of his past. Eve deals with the ramifications of her last encounter with her ex, and Alex's mistakes come to a head when Steffi comes to him with a shocking proposal.”

In the new series Tom Ellis plays,Dr. William P. Rush, a drug abusing doctor with many problems of his own. Recently, Tom Ellis opened up to TV Guide about the show, adding:

"This guy likes to live vicariously through himself. He enjoys the taking of the drugs, he enjoys the multiple women, he enjoys the finer things in life. At the heart of it all, this is a guy who has made decisions to be the person he is and live the life that he has, but he's still a good guy. He's just made some, or continues to make, bad choices…He's a flawed character, but not because he takes drugs. He's flawed and he takes drugs.”
