It looks like Fast and Furious 7 Instagram bikini model cast memeber, Michelle Rodriguez, should have held on to on-again off-again girlfriend, Cara Delevingne just a little bit tighter, because the often topless nude Burberry supermodel is making the transition from model to full-fledged actress after landing to the lead role in Jake Schreier movie adaptation of John Green's Paper Towns. According to all the gossip news updates, Michelle tried to go back to Cara after her very public breakup with Zac Efron last month, but Suki Waterhouse's bestie seems like she's far too busy moving forward towards true international film stardom to be worrying about all the middle-aged actress she is destined to leave behind.
Goodbye, runway. Hello, red carpet.
English supermodel sex symbol, Cara Delevingne is well on her way to leave the glamorous world of modeling behind for the even more lavish land of the A-list Hollywood actress.
According to Variety, after just a short time in the acting game, the beautiful blonde bombshell is all set to take the lead in Fox 2000's next big budget blockbuster:
"Cara Delevingne is in talks to co-star with Nat Wolff in the adaptation of John Green's "Paper Towns" for Fox 2000.
"Fox 2000 seems to want to stay in business with the model-turned-actress, as she is also in talks to star in its Beach Boys inspired All Summer Long. She most recently wrapped production on the Warner Bros. film Pan."
Granted, at this point in her career, Cara doesn't necessarily come off as your most conventional of Hollywood starlets, but that is okay, because Paper Towns is exactly your most conventional of love stories:
"The story follows young neighbors who share the jarring experience of finding the body of a man who committed suicide.
"The two leads grow apart--until the night he finds her at his bedroom window, dressed like a ninja. She enlists him in a campaign to get revenge on the people who've hurt her.
"The next day, she vanishes and he is left to ponder the ramifications of the evening. Then he begins getting clues and follows them in an attempt to find her."
Don't worry though, Kate Beckinsale is more than happy to tell you that Delevingne is a lot more than a pretty face thrust in front of movie camera.
During a recent interview with the Telegraph, Cara's Face of an Angel costar went out of her way to let people know that the girl's got real talent:
"I love Cara. She's an absolute character and really serious about acting.
"She's incredibly humble, funny and silly...Completely insane.
"Absolutely my type of girl!"
Who knows...maybe before you even know it Delevingne will land her own semi-regular reoccurring role in a huge Hollywood franchise, so she can get the hottest model's the world has to offer to make out with her at Laker's games.
