Casey Kasem Dead Body Homecoming Feud: Daughter Kerri Bashes Wife Jean for Will and Funeral on Howard Stern

The tragic saga of Casey Kasem continued last week, when his daughter Kerri was interviewed by Howard Stern. Casey Kasem was pronounced dead back in June, yet the radio icon's body remains unburied. Kerri didn't hold back on Stern's legendary morning show, where she discussed Casey's wife, Jean Kasem, and how the widow has been handling the will and funeral.

Despite Kerri and Jean Kasem's longstanding and well-publicized feud, it's virtually unthinkable that Casey Kasem has yet to be buried. As the two women spend their time suing one another, Casey Kasem's body sits in Norway, still above ground.

And how did his corpse make it halfway around the world? Jean Kasem is insisting that this is where Casey Kasem wanted to be buried.

But not everyone agrees, as NBC News tells readers:

"Casey Kasem's relatives and friends are pleading with the Norwegian government to deny a request by the late DJ's wife to bury him in the capital of Oslo. In a letter to Norway obtained by NBC News, 20 of Kasem's relatives and friends claim the legendary radio personality never spoke of a desire to be buried in Norway and always wanted his final resting place to be in his hometown, Los Angeles."

To no one's surprise, Kerri brought up this fact during her recent interview with Howard Stern. This wasn't the only controversial topic Kerri was willing to discuss either.

When Howard asked Kerri if there was ever a time when she and Jean Kasem got along, Kerri admitted that there was, however, their peace didn't last very long:

"There were some fun times I remember. I think she was the first person to take me out on a boogie board...there were sometimes I remember her taking us to toy stores. But then things went downhill quickly...When they did get married, the first year maybe, in between her doing things that weren't nice, she would do things that were nice...I really wanted her to like me...I was 9, and I really wanted her to like me."

This was the only portion of Kerri's comments that could possibly be construed as positive. She soon told Howard about how allegedly callous and uncaring Jean was:

"I had this stuffed animal as a child, I still have it, it's a penguin. My dog tore its beak off, and I slept with it every night, like a blanket. I brought him over one day, and she looked at him and she said, 'Oh, I love to sew. If you leave him here for the week, I'll fix him up.' And I did NOT want to give this to her, but I wanted her to like me so much, I handed it over. I come back the next weekend, and she's thrown it to the dogs."

When asked if she ever had resentment towards her father for staying with Jean, Kerri courageously admitted that there was a time when she was angry with her father:

"I used to have a lot of anger towards him. Why would you marry someone who hates your family? She would never go to Michigan, she would never go on family trips. She resented the fact that he was Arab. So, yeah, I did have some resentment...He valued kindness and compassion...and then he married someone who was totally opposite of him...I think they stayed together for the kid."

Before ending the interview, Howard asked Kerri if she and her siblings were even in the will. Though Kerri knows that a trust was left in their names, her family has yet to determine the contents of the will:

"We don't know. We haven't seen what is in the will...We don't know. We don't even know about our trusts yet. We have lawyers working on it. It's trying to be worked out now. We know that he left us a trust that she is trying to go after now...She had her lawyer...write a letter saying that we need to turn the money over to her right now."
