Poor multi-millionaire, Kevin Hart, recently defended himself against accusations suggesting that the only reason he asked his fiancé/girlfriend to marry him when he did was because he wanted the news of the engagement to disrupt the Atlanta Exes' television debut for his ex-wife Torrei. It doesn't matter what the Madden 2015 spokesman says, however, Torrei is convinced that Hart owes her a significant portion of his reported $25 million net worth. Hart claims that Kevin was a cheater who left her after she help build his career to go be with a younger woman, Eniko Parish. And believe it or not, Torrei claims that sob story is actually saving people's lives.
It seems that Kevin Hart is never going to be forgiven by his ex-wife, Torrei or her fans, no matter what public apologies he makes, but that hasn't stopped the comedian from trying.
According to the New Pittsburgh Courier, there are plenty of people that think Hart isn't really ready to let the beef go--as evidenced by the timing of his engagement to Eniko Parish:
"It was the fact that Kevin's ex-wife Torrei Hart's new reality show Atlanta Exes had just debuted on VH1 that had folks talking.
"Due to Torrei's recent comments about Kevin and Eniko hooking up while they were still together, many wondered if it was payback that led Hart to pop the question to his girl at the same time that his ex's new show was making its debut."
All the ugly speculation and rampant rumors led a frustrated Hart to try to assure the world that any if any animosity exists it's only in the mind of his wife and her friends.
"I recently had a woman reach out on social media who was ready to kill herself... She wanted to commit suicide and she reached out to me on Facebook [so] I asked her to contact me immediately... she said my story impacted her.
"I said 'honey listen. I was with my ex before everything happened-- the fame the money, before everything.
"And I've played an intricate part in building his career and he left but I would never end my life over anyone."
Fair enough, but will you never shut up about it? What do they not have divorce courts, alimony or child support in Georgia?
