Rumors that Kendra Wilkinson is getting a divorce from husband Hank Baskett have been flying ever since it was reported that Hank may be guilty of cheating on his wife with a transgendered YouTube star. But now it seems that Kendra and Hank are back together, and all of those affair claims may have just been an effort to get their reality show renewed. Is there a breakup in sight?
From the looks of things, the answer is "no."
For some, this may a bit surprising. After all, the tabloids have been reporting that Hank and Kendra were going to split for months now.
Kendra even admitted that she flushed her wedding ring down the toilet over Baskett's actions.
But now it seems as if the entire fiasco was totally staged, allegations that are similar to those Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott faced with their reality show, True Tori.
Radar Online is one of many media outlets reporting that Kendra and Hank have benefited from the "scandal." According to the popular U.S. website, their show, Kendra on Top, has been renewed for a third season:
"Nearly two months after Kendra Wilkinson kicked Hank Baskett out of their home amid rumors he'd had an affair with a transsexual, RadarOnline.com has learned that the couple are back living together and Baskett is telling friends they're 'happy' - perhaps because they signed off on filming another season of their reality show."
Of course, ratings may not be the only reason that Hank and Kendra are back together.
A recent tabloid report suggests that Kendra actually turned to her father for advice regarding Hank's transgressions. One source tells the September 15 print edition of OK! Magazine that Kendra was ready to walk away, but decided to stay with Hank for the kids:
"While Kendra was apparently ready to kick Hank to the curb, she wanted to talk to her dad first, and apparently he made her realize that getting a divorce and raising her two children alone...wasn't necessarily the answer...Kendra comes from a broken home, and she doesn't want that to happen to 4-year-old Hank IV and 4-month-old Alijah. Seeing her dad was a real wake-up call."
Kendra's father isn't the only family member speaking up. That distinction also belongs to Kendra's mom, Patti, who has been bashing her daughter in a number of recent tabloid interviews.
