Time for another news update in the troubled life of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. It looks like Teresa may finally be going broke, as she and her husband are selling their NJ home. This comes after a tabloid report claimed to reveal the length of jail time she will receive, following her feud with one-time co-star, Caroline Manzo.
It's no secret that things have not been going great for reality TV couple Joe and Teresa Giudice. The stars of the popular Bravo show Real Housewives of New Jersey, both plead guilty to dozens of fraud charges.
And now it looks like they are facing money trouble as well.
It was recently revealed that the Giudice's have listed their New Jersey mansion for sale. And according to Radar Online, they are looking to make quite the profit:
"[Teresa and Joe Giudice] have quietly listed their New Jersey mansion for $3.99 million. The reality star couple purchased the home in 2002 for $530,000, but they didn't move in until 2008 after years of renovations. In 2012, the house reportedly was worth $1.2 million, but the Giuidices are set on trying to sell it for about quadruple that price!"
Of course, the big news is that Teresa is facing nearly 35 years in prison for her admitted crimes. Unfortunately, some media outlets are reporting that Teresa is in denial about the whole thing.
That's certainly the picture OK! Magazine paints in their September 15 print edition. One source tells the tabloid that Teresa is too busy posing for photos and feuding with Dina Manzo to focus on her upcoming sentencing:
"Teresa is still in denial and as arrogant as her husband. She's been posing on the beach in a bikini, when she should be headed to prison...Instead of focusing on her own problems, she's bad-mouthing her friend Dina Manzo. Teresa is jealous of Dina, and she's been annoyed with her lately."
This latest development comes after Teresa seemed to walk away from her ongoing feud with another Manzo, Dina's sister Caroline. The two have been staying out of sight of one another, even when Teresa lost her father-in-law earlier in the year.
What do you think about Teresa and Joe listing their property? Are they going broke? Do you think Teresa isn't taking her upcoming prison sentencing seriously enough?
