Rumors are once again flying that Kendra Wilkinson will be getting a divorce from husband Hank Baskett, who is accused of cheating on his wife with a trans YouTube model. New claims suggest that, after a very public feud with her mom, the sexy playmate sought out her father for advice.
It's no secret that Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are having trouble. No one has made this clearer than Kendra, herself, when she admitted that she flushed her wedding ring down a toilet.
While the exact reason behind their marital woes has yet to be revealed, many media outlets are reporting that Hank cheated on his lovely wife with a trans model.
And now a new report suggests that Kendra has turned to her father for advice. According to OK! Magazine's September 15 print edition, Kendra's dad may have saved her marriage:
"While Kendra was apparently ready to kick Hank to the curb, she wanted to talk to her dad first, and apparently he made her realize that getting a divorce and raising her two children alone...wasn't necessarily the answer...Kendra comes from a broken home, and she doesn't want that to happen to 4-year-old Hank IV and 4-month-old Alijah. Seeing her dad was a real wake-up call."
While it's unclear if Kendra and Hank will actually divorce, one thing is for certain-this whole fiasco has generated a lot of debate about the word "tranny."
The term, which LGBT groups have condemned for being offensive, was widely used by media outlets that covered Hank's alleged affair.
This, according to GLAAD and a number of other gay-rights groups, is unacceptable. Even major celebrities like Lance Bass have condemned the term, in a Huffington Post article:
"I have learned, thanks to Glaad.org's website, that the term 'tranny' is used as a dehumanizing slur to describe transgender individuals and is oftentimes the last word someone hears before they are brutally attacked. Similar to the anti-gay F-word, the term 'tranny' is commonly used to humiliate and degrade transgender individuals."
