Even though you might have already read the opposite a hundred times or more on the internet, Divergent stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James are not dating and never have been. Before the Underworld action star could even plan on putting the moves on the White Bird in a Blizzard topless nude sex-symbol he would have to breakup with longtime girlfriend, Ruth Kearney, first. Costar Milles Teller recently revealed that he has never been Shailene's boyfriend either, despite starring in three different films together. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Spectacular Now star and his girlfriend model Keleigh Sperry recently went down to Cabo to celebrate Miles' much deserved Oscar buzz generated by masterful performance in Whiplash.
Shailene Woodley may have been the first Hollywood up-and-comer to "break out" due to Divergent's success, but her costar Miles Teller maybe on a meteoric rise that will soon completely eclipse Shailene's star power.
According to the coverage by KPopStarz, Teller's role in his newest movie, Whiplash, is all set to completely changes fans and critics perceptions of Teller's talents in the future:
"Miles Teller received the Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival for his performance in 'Whiplash', but only started to receive the attention he deserves for this year's Oscar race.
"[Miles] celebrated his Oscar buzz at Vegas and Cabo with his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry."
Christopher Rosen of the Huffington Post described Miles acting in the film as a kind of amalgamation of several of Hollywood's most successful personas:
"That's why Teller's work in Whiplash is kind of revelatory. As the 27-year-old has climbed Hollywood's ranks, he's displayed both the smart-aleck energy of a young Shia LaBeouf and the verbal dexterity of Vince Vaughn.
"Teller is given less to do than Natalie Portman in Black Swan--a movie Chazelle likely found very illuminating on his journey of making Whiplash-- but he's nearly as perfect."
People have said an awful lot of nice things about Shailene Woodley--especially since she really starting getting Hollywood's attention after starring with George Clooney in The Descendants, but no one has ever seriously suggested that she deserves an Academy Award.
So, kudos to you Miles Teller...apparently you've earned it.
