It appears that Jon and Kate Gosselin once again find themselves in the midst of a feud. After it was announced that she and the twins would be getting a new show, rumors suggest that Jon wants to cash in on her salary. This latest report follows a number of claims that suggest she may be guilty of child abuse.
On paper, Kate Gosselin should be having the time of her life. After a successful special on TLC, the channel offered her a new show, which will focus on the lives of both Gosselin and her twins.
But a new report suggests that she could be facing yet another battle with ex-husband Jon Gosselin.
Despite the fact that he will not be appearing on the new show, Jon reportedly wants his cut of the pie. One source tells Radar Online, it's because Jon has no income of his own:
"Jon's trying to get a percentage of Kate's TLC salary for the new Kate Plus 8 specials...He has no stable job, no steady income, and now he's trying to tell Kate that if she doesn't give him a cut of the money, he will claim the kids hate filming and they are being forced to do it."
This isn't the only negative attention Kate's been facing. Robert Hoffman, who has written a tell-all book about Kate, has been releasing passages from his book.
Needless to say, the passages have been quite damning. This is especially true for the preview Hollywood Life was given, which makes some pretty startling allegations of abuse:
"Kate allegedly used something called 'the spanker' to hit her children until they were 'happy' again...The book also reveals that Kate often wrote in a private journal about her troubles disciplining the children, and even believed her son Colin, 2 years old at the time, did things specifically to annoy her. Colin spent a lot of time sitting in a corner staring at the wall as punishment for his 'intentional' bad behavior."
What do you think about the latest allegations? Is there any truth to claims that Kate abuses her children? Do you think Jon really expects a portion of her TLC salary?
