It looks like the feud between Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Rob Kardashian and Rita Ora continues, despite the fact that their breakup occurred so long ago. This latest update comes after Rob left Kim Kardashian's wedding early on the season finale of their hit show, and while the reasons vary, many suggest that it's because Rob was ostracized for being fat.
Rob Kardashian has been having a very rough year, admitting that he has been struggling with both weight gain and depression. Through it all, his big sister Kim Kardashian has proven to be the least supportive.
But that all changed last Sunday at the VMAs, when the reality star made a decisive stand for her brother. TMZ was the first to report about Kim's pro-Rob seating request at the popular awards show:
"Kim Kardashian gave Rita Ora the cold shoulder at the VMAs last Sunday -- refusing to sit near her -- and sources close to the family say it's because Kim blames her for screwing with Rob Kardashian's head."
This is a pretty drastic turnaround for Kim, who has been offering her brother nothing but tough love until now. This may be the break that Rob needs, after a slew of reports suggested that Rob has been turning to drugs.
Popular U.S. gossip site Celeb Dirty Laundry has even suggested that Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband, Lamar Odom, was who got Rob hooked on drugs.
According to the website, this has made Rob a hermit:
"Rather than just providing an older brother type example for Rob, Lamar got him in deep with booze and drugs and when Lamar and Khloe's marriage crashed Rob's drug problem remained...Rather than being a functioning member of society, Rob has instead become a hermit, spending his days hiding out while hopped up on pain killers and sizzurp."
What do you think about the latest developments? Was Kim being a good sister or just a diva when she requested not to be seated near Rita Ora? Do you think that Rob is really struggling with drugs? If so, is Lamar Odom to blame?
