Good news Ellen fans--according to all the latest gossip news updates, Ellen DeGeneres and her Arrested Development wife Portia de Rossi's marriage is doing better than ever now that they are back form their European vacation. Word has it the couple were close to getting a divorce after de Rossi reportedly went into rehab leaving Ellen to defend their relationship all alone. But apparently all talk of splitting up has vanished and Ellen can focus on returning to work on her show. Rumors still persist that DeGeneres isn't the lady that you see on TV--often complaining and bullying her way through life. It's said that DeGeneres' own mother recently got so tired of hearing her daughter complain about how old she looks, that Betty is demanding her duaghter get plastic surgery and/or shut up.
After almost nothing but negative speculation for the past year or so, reports are finally starting to surface that Ellen DeGeneres and her wife of six-years, Portia de Rossi, are happy once again.
An informer who spoke to Radar Online claimed that Ellen and Portia have finally been able to put their sorted past behind them for the first time in a very long time:
"Ellen says that she and Portia are doing so much better.
"Towards the end of last season everything was really taking a toll on her...While Portia was in treatment and everyone was predicting that they were getting a divorce, it was really hard.
"But thankfully, all of that has passed. Ellen says that she will be with Portia forever and that she puts her wife before anything, even her career."
All the love and happiness has reportedly done very little to soften Ellen's surly off-screen personality.
A supposed insider told In Touch Weekly for their September 15, issue that Ellen has taken it upon herself to torture the staff at her favorite local home furnishing store:
"She regularly shops at Pacific Design Center for home furnishings...and she's feared by most of the associates!
"Ellen isn't polite.
"She wants everything immediately and is nasty about it...Everyone dreads handling her needs."
A source speaking with Life & Style for their September 8, print edition went so far as to claim that Ellen has complained so much about how her face is seemingly falling off, that her own mother has demanded that she get something done about it so they can get some relief:
"Betty told Ellen hat she doesn't act her age so she might as well not look it.
"[She] took her aside and told her to stop complaining and do something about it...and Portia agreed."
Well...god knows Ellen's got the money to by an entirely new face if she wants to do so...and it may be about time.
