CW Flash Villain's Casting: Heatwave Dominic Purcell Joins Prison Break Co-Star Captain Cold Wentworth Miller and ‘Arrow’ Clock King Robert Knepper [UPDATE] [ROGUES GALLERY]

The Flash’s Rogues Gallery is building and most of them already have a record. The upcoming CW series has a cast a string of new villains for the Scarlet Speedster, ripped straight from the set of Prison Break. Dominic Purcell has been cast as Heatwave alongside his old on-screen brother Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold. Robert Knepper’s Clock King will also be crossing over from Arrow, to join the reunion.

We know that comic book villains have a knack for breaking out of prison, but this is ridiculous. Three members of the Fox series Prison Break have now be cast on The CW’s upcoming series, The Flash.

First Wentworth Miller was cast as villain, tured Justice League member Captain Cold. In the comic book’s Captain Cold is the villainous, yet honorable leader of The Flash’s Rogues Gallery. As his name suggest, Captain Cold is armed with a freeze gun.

Miller’s former Prison Break brother Dominic Purcell has now joined the cast as Heatwave. Like Captain Cold, Heatwave’s name offers a pretty good synopsis of his powers.

Meanwhile, their old pal Robert Knepper will also be crossing over from Arrow to the new series. Knepper recently played The Clock King in Arrow Season 3. Back then he spoke to MTV about his experience, and his hopes for returning to the show:

"I never felt with Arrow that I was having one of those nightmares where I couldn't keep up. We just all worked as a team, with me all day inside this thing set up with all these computer screens, mission control kind of place. I don't know, I've been doing this for 30 years so I kind of get off on this sort of thing. How focused can we get here, and it went off without a hitch. It was great...The word was when I shot it that they were very happy with me, so it's a mutual feeling. I hope that they will continue making him a worthy opponent."
