Scandinavian darling Alice Boman has released a fuzzy video for '”Be Mine” off of her new American release, EPII on Malmö-based label Adrian. EPII came with a bonus edition of her first EP, Skisser, off the Control Group this past June.
Additionally, Boman released a slew of American tour dates for you to catch her lo-fi-indie-folk-pop serenades.
While Boman’s voice emanates the harrowing emotivism of Nina Simone and label mate Cate Le Bon; she remains an individual. The video for “Be Mine” has fused out shots whose looks could have come from a pinhole or 35mm camera. A washed out scene of chickens clucking and Boman waifing around in the woods like a Pitchfork sponsored zombie play out in the three minute and change video.
Check out her tour dates below and hope for the best that she brings the chickens along.
