Even though Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan's marriage has been bombarded with speculation and rumor for months now, they have always seemed like the happiest of couples when in public.
Interestingly enough, however, Channing and Jenna weren't together at all for the Telluride Film Festival debut of The Foxcatcher, a film that some speculate will bring a ton of high-profile dramatic roles Tatum way--very much the way Capote did for Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Channing was seen looking very friendly with actress Hilary Swank on the day that could mark the sea change in his career; the Daily Mail posted a few shots of the pair looking like they had definitely hung out a time or two before:
"On Saturday, Magic Mike hunk Channing Tatum and Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank enjoyed some quality time together at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.
"The duo were clearly enjoying each other's company as Channing, 34, promoted his new film with Steve Carell, Foxcatcher.
"The Million Dollar Baby star was also very hands on with Channing."
Whomever Channing decides to spend it with, he had better enjoy his free time while it lasts, because word has it come October Tatum's going to have to once again dawn the assless chaps this time for the good people of Myrtle Beach (via WBTW):
"Film crews were along the Grand Strand during the Labor Day weekend filming scenes for Magic Mike XXL.
"Jody Schiesser, Assistant Location Manager for Red Zone, confirmed Tuesday that the film is the sequel to the Warner Brothers film Magic Mike...Schiesser said no actors were present during the weekend filming but they would be in town in October.
"Myrtle Beach plays a prominent role in the sequel, according to a film permit from the city of Myrtle Beach."
Shooting in Myrtle Beach is either the most brilliant or epically stupid thing they could have done--and for exactly the same reasons. Let's hope it's both.
