The supposed split of America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon and his Instagram lingerie model wife, Mariah Carey, has more twists and turns than a Six Flags roller coaster. Recent reports suggest the the "Butterfly" drunk has filed for divorce, despite the fact that alleged cheater, Cannon, was said to have broken the news that their marriage was failing. But now, according to all the latest gossip news updates, the Wild N' Out star has pulled a complete 180--claiming on Twitter that he will always love Mariah.
After a few weeks of intense scrutiny following the reported announcement by Nick Cannon that he and wife, Mariah Carey, had in fact separated comes the news that middle-age sex-symbol want is filing for divorce.
A source, who spoke with E! News, insisted that Carey was taken aback by Cannon's comments but is determined to get the upper hand:
"Mariah has started the divorce process. She's getting all her ducks in a row.
"She won't be caught off-guard again...She was devastated when he spoke out about their issues.
"She's started the proceedings to make sure the ball is in her court from now on."
The only problem is, according to Cannon's latest Twitter updates, that he never said anything about his marriage to anyone.
Last night the usually too cool for school Cannon seemed desperate to set the record straight:
"For the record I NEVER have, nor will I make a statement regarding my marriage."
"Because my family & I haven't been forthcoming with personal information, people are quick to paint negative pictures and spread rumors."
"I will always love her unconditionally for this and so much more. @MariahCarey is an amazing Mother and I trust her wholeheartedly..."
The tirade goes on for another 16 tweets, but never actually addresses whether or not his wife are living together or are getting divorced.
At this point, it seems kind of impossible to accurately speculate about Nick and Mariah's marriage, though that doesn't seem to have stopped Cannon.
