Rumors continue to swirl around Beyonce and Jay Z, who are rumored to be getting a divorce. The latest tabloid reports suggest that Beyonce may be pregnant with her second child, after claims that the two would be breaking up over an epic elevator fight. Luckily for the couple, Bey's new poetry has been generating a bit of good press for the couple.
Sure Beyonce can sing and dance, but did you know that she also writes poetry. You can check out her poetry in the latest edition of CR Fashion Book.
Since "Bey the Light" was published, Metro had Tom Chivers critique the work. Chivers, a poet himself, wasn't too harsh on the work, which he largely reviewed as favorable.
There were some parts, however, that seemed a bit confusing:
"This poem is a rambling search for the true source of Beyoncé's artistic inspiration, and it rifles swiftly through the candidates: her daughter, children in general, spirits, her grandmother's specifically, her stage persona 'Sasha', a TV preacher, other people's grief, God and, finally, chaos...Her only simile - 'Children ... uplift me like pieces of moon' - may be confusing, but at least it's trying to say something original."
Of course, these days people seem more interested in Beyonce's relationship with her rapping husband Jay Z than any art either of them may release.
Ever since Beyonce's sister Solange attacked Jay Z in a Met elevator, hip-hop's reigning couple finds themselves battling the tabloids every week.
While many of the reports suggest that the couple are headed towards divorce, a new article claims that Beyonce may be pregnant with her second child.
This is especially true of the September 8 print edition of OK! Magazine. One source tells the publication that Jay Z is now as protective of Beyonce as he was when she was pregnant with Blue Ivy:
"For the last month, Jay has been fiercely protective of her, just like he was when she was expecting Blue Ivy...He's been doing everything he can to ensure that Bey is in a stress-free bubble. He's informed their entire entourage that they need to use relaxed voices, mellow lighting and listen to only soft music, and he's said that all of the food Beyoncé eats should be organic..."
