There are plenty of people who hate Lance Armstrong for cheating to win a record seven Tour de France races. They hate him for lying about it. But Armstrong, who finally admitted last year to using PED's during his time as a professional cyclist, is bouncing back after the scandal. Despite an ongoing lawsuit, the biker is staying positive. Though the doping scandal is still fresh, he's hoping that eventually he'll get a second chance.
Armstrong is definitely trying to move on. He says despite the lingering ire in the media and on the internet, he doesn't run into much trouble on the street (via CNN):
"But day-to-day life is positive. I never get crap, not once, and I'm surprised by that. Sure, I sometimes get the vibe that someone wants to say something, but it's never happened."
The fallout isn't completely over, however. Bob Hamman, president of SCA Promotions, sued Armstrong to recover bonus money they paid Armstrong during the time that he was riding dirty.
Simply put, he and his company feel Armstrong didn't earn that money if he didn't earn his victories (via USA Today):
"It's a fairly complicated situation. And it could take quite a few twists and turns."
