Bo Dallas needs to be Jack Swagger's tune up before returning to settle his beef with Rusev. That doesn't mean it can't be a great feud in its own right. If WWE Creative take their time and do it right, Jack Swagger can get his groove back while beating the crap out of Bo Dallas and then he can go back and get his due revenge against Rusev and Lana for their evil deeds. It should be fun, and it should last until Royal Rumble.
Dallas has begun to make a great transformation from entertaining and loveable goofball to schizophrenic assassin with a short temper and a dogmatic Bo-lief that positive thinking will get him everything he wants.
Instead of just having a cheesy motivational speaker gag, Dallas' character is building dark layers which actually compare favorably to his brother Windham's character Bray Wyatt. Like most heels in WWE today, Dallas has a clear motivation for acting the way he does, which makes them more compelling, but few have been able to get over as villains and actually get heat. No one boos Wyatt, for example.
Dallas has started to get boos, however by letting his true dark side overcome the "Bo-Lieve" gimmick once in a while, but he can stop on a dime and go back to the smiling façade in an instant.
Swagger, on the other hand, has been getting buried since he entered the once-promising feud with Rusev. Hopefully, WWE is demonstrating patience for once and making a program actually last and build and develop over time.
By devoting his attention to Dallas for a while, Swagger can renew his purpose and get his focus, perhaps even let his ribs "heal". Then, when he gets over on Bo Dallas, he can make his Rocky III-like comeback against the mad Russian (yes I said Rocky III and not IV on purpose because the crux of the story is not the superficial nationalistic angle, but of a classic hero's redemption tale.)
