Tonight, the tables get turned on, the Syfy horror makeup competition, Face Off. Tonight the Judges get a chance to show off their skills in special charity competition episode. Meanwhile, the new age of horror makeup artist are emerging. The Cootie Queen, Jesse Meriwether, and her 8-year-old daughter Bella, recently released their film Bad Dreams, with makeup effects from the child prodigy. You can check out the full video below.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s special episode of Face Off reads:
“Judges Ve Neill, Glenn Hetrick and Neville Page compete against each other for charity. Their challenge is to create a pair of living chess pieces--one pure and pristine, while the other is evil and twisted. Helping them in their endeavor are former contestants and champions, including Roy Wooley, Miranda Jory, Wayne Anderson, Conor McCullagh, J. Anthony Kosar and Laura Tyler. The winner is determined by Michael Westmore and Lois Burwell.”

A new name in horror makeup is emerging. Orbit gum, Lint Licker actress, Jess Meriwether’s 8-year-old daughter Bella has made her horror movie makeup debut in the new short Bad Dreams.

The official video description, written by the Mother Meriwether reads:
“My 8 year old daughter Bella has always been passionate about movie magic and makeup effects.
During this summer break, she asked me to make a short film so she could get some hands on experience.
She was in charge of the effects (from concept to execution).”
From the looks of the video, Bella has a very bright future ahead of her. We look forward to seeing what other great works this 8-year-old wonder can achieve in the future.
