NFL 2014: Can Jerry Jones Buy A Super Bowl Victory? Tony Romo Ready to Lead Dallas Cowboys?

Jerry Jones, the most heavily criticized GM in the NFL, says if he could cut a check and win the Super Bowl, he would. Well, there's more than one way to buy a victory, and Jones used to know that, but his lack of expertise in personnel is getting in the way of his checkbook. Meanwhile, Tony Romo is not ready to lead his Dallas Cowboys into battle after back surgery, according to radio personalities in Dallas.

A recent profile on Jerry Jones offers an interesting insight into the mind of the Cowboys owner (via ESPN):

"I've never wanted anything as much as I want to win the next Super Bowl. You wouldn't want to see the size of the check that I would write if it would for sure get the Dallas Cowboys a Super Bowl."

David Moore and Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News aren't thrilled about America's Team's prospects this year (via Dallas Morning News):

"I don't know how they can feel good about where they are at this stage... I don't believe it is going to turn around. Romo doesn't look right. The zip isn't on the passes. Even on completions last week, he was behind Bryant, he was behind Cole Beasley."
