Giants Safety Quintin Demps on Rookie Hazing as Big Blue Gears Up For 2014 Regular Season

As the New York Football Giants went undefeated this preseason, they've got a lot of momentum as they gear up for the 2014 regular season. Backup safety Quintin Demps might not be a starter, but he has the wisdom of a veteran. For example, he knows a thing or two about rookie hazing. In 2008, Demps recalls he had to pick up the check one time- and the bill was off the charts!

The Giants went 5-0 in preseason action, and with veteran Eli Manning at QB, they're looking to put in a solid year (via New York Daily News):

"The team is now ready to open the season next Monday in Detroit against the Lions. Here's a quick overview of the final 53-man roster, along with a few thoughts on the final group at each position."

Quintin Demps, a safety for the Giants, recently spoke to TMZ about getting stuck with the check one time when he was a rookie (via TMZ):

"Demps says he was a rookie under Andy Reid, so the hazing was kept to a minimum ... with the exception of an insanely pricey meal ... and some takeout chicken."
