Will Prince Devitt Be Allowed to Keep His Gimmick? WWE May Let Fergal Keep Indie Face Paint

Prince Devitt (born Fergal Devitt), one of WWE's most exciting new acquisitions, is more than just a fantastic worker in the ring. He also has an amazing character, dark and brooding, often done up in ghoulish face and body paint. While there has been concern that WWE might try to repackage him, recent photos have fans crossing their fingers that he will be allowed to keep his Indie gimmick.

Kevin Steen, another high-profile Indie great who just made the leap, recently posted a picture of himself and Prince Devitt in his classic face paint (via Fan Sided):

"Steen posted this photo to his twitter account with he and Devitt, and you can clearly see that WWE might not be screwing with Devitt's amazing gimmick at all."

Paint or no, Devitt is about to rock NXT Developmental, and hopefully find his way onto RAW very soon (via Miami Herald):

"Pleasing to guys like Fergal, you don't have to be the big, monster type to reach top level star status in WWE. Look at the success of the 5-6, 155-pound Rey Mysterio Jr. in WWE. More recent, Daniel Bryan (5-10, 210) took it to a whole 'nother level."
