Retired Goldberg On Sting Return: Podcast Host Not Sure the Icon Will Ever Wrestle Again? [RUMORS]

In a recent interview, retired wrestler Bill Goldberg said he's not sure if Sting will ever wrestle again. The podcast host and former world champion pointed out that Sting does things Sting's way on Sting's time. While the clock winds down on Steve Borden's career, the chances of him returning to the ring are rapidly diminishing. But he's not desperate to do anything, and the Stinger won't do anything if it's not right.

Goldberg, who made an impact during his brief tenure at WCW, is not a wrestling guy. He cashed in on his physique, and made a name for himself. And that's ok.

But he ain't one of the boys. Never was. Never will be.

That said, he actually does have a bit of insight into Sting's mindset. While Sting made a career out of pro wrestling, he always stood apart.

And he's always been a great businessman. Sting is always interested in protecting his brand (via Sports World News):

"It's a guy like Sting. It's a guy like me that makes decisions not based upon wrestling logic, but based upon individual needs and desires. There's a lot that plays into these things. It's taken him this long to be a member of the WWE. He's surely not going to make a hasty decision about anything."

If both parties don't feel like they can do something spectacular- something that will be remembered forever- they are not going to do anything at all (via CBS Atlanta):

"You never know what WWE is doing... You don't know if they're publicizing it to ramp up for an in-ring return or an appearance of if they're just hinting at it so that they can sell more video games. You just never know."
