The new President of the New York Knicks, Phil Jackson, has settled down into a historic brownstone on West 57th Street this month. The Zen Master bought the apartment, which was listed at nearly $5 million from agent Amanda S. Brainerd. Now that he's found a place to not come home to at night, Jackson can get down to imparting the wisdom of the Triangle Offense to the Big Apple.
Although long-time assistant Tex Winter is the brains behind the free-flowing, option-oriented basketball system, it has been Jackson's leadership and mastery of psychology that have enabled it to flower (via Fan Sided):
"Jackson won 6 championships with it in Chicago, 5 more in Los Angeles. One can only hope he does the same at least once in New York."
This is a new challenge for Jackson. Overseeing the big picture stuff is new to Jackson, but he seems up to the job.
Of course, if Jackson doesn't kill himself at work, he can always take a vacation at one of his other homes (via LA Times):
"In addition to his new midtown apartment, Jackson owns a modern beachfront home in Playa del Rey and a house on Flathead Lake in western Montana."
