'RHONJ' Guilty Joe, Teresa Giudice Jail Time Revealed After Caroline Manzo Feud? [RUMORS]

Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Joe and Teresa Giudice, who both plead guilty to a number of fraud charges, may be facing a great deal of jail time. A popular website claims the may know how long Teresa will be spending in the pen, following her well-publicized feud with Caroline Manzo.

Stealing from the federal government is never a good idea. Unfortunately, this is a lesson that Joe and Teresa have had to learn the hard way.

After pleading guilty to a number of fraud charges, all the Giudices can do is sit back and wait for their sentencing, which should occur in late September (the date has already been pushed back once before).

Though it's unclear how the judge may rule, gossip site Bustle has some idea about what could go down. According to the website, Giudice could face nearly 40 years in prison, however, that seems unlikely:

"Teresa could possibly serve somewhere between 21 and 27 months (her maximum sentence would be 35 years, but that's incredibly unlikely) in prison. But since Joe is credited by both as the mastermind of the operation and the couple have four young children, it's possible that she could receive little to no jail time in exchange for probation and higher fines...For his charges, Joe could be sentenced up to 46 months in jail."

Despite facing serious jail time, a new report suggests that Teresa may be a bit out of touch.

A recent Radar Online article insists that Teresa doesn't think she is going to serve any jail time at all. One source tells the publication that Teresa thinks being a mom gives her a license to steal:

"Teresa has been telling friends she doesn't think there is any way the judge will send her to prison because she is a mother of four girls...Teresa is planning on saying she just went along with whatever her husband Joe gave her to sign, and never paid attention to the details...Teresa is very positive that the United States Justice Department won't recommend that she go to jail either."
