Disney Channel Shane Harper New MTV Show ‘Happyland’ Preview After Girlfriend Bridget Mendler ‘Good Luck Charlie’ Cancellation

Shane Harper is making quite the name for himself. Harper got his start as a dancer, appearing in films like High School Musical 2, before landing a recurring role on The Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie. There Harper started dating his co-star, Bridgit Mendler. Harper then went on to appear in the Christian apologetics film, God Is Not Dead. Soon Shane will be seen in the new MTV series Happyland. Check out the preview for the all new show below.

Shane Harper will soon grace the small screen once again in MTV’s new series Happyland. TV Guide’s official fall preview for the new show reads:

“MTV's newest scripted teen drama exposes the soapy inner workings of one of the country's most popular theme parks, revealing the less-than-magical reality of what goes on behind the scenes. Bianca Santos stars as Lucy, a cynical teenager who grew up in the park (her mom, played by Camille Guaty, works there as a princess) and wants to leave so she can experience the real world. Naturally, that all changes when she meets Ian (Shane Harper). He's the son of the park's new owner, who sweeps Lucy off her feet... until a scandal comes to light that turns both their lives upside-down.”

Happyland premieres on September 30, at 11 p.m. eastern on MTV.

‘Good Luck Charlie’ Bridgit Mendler Talks Dating Shane Harper

Recently, Bridgit Mendler opened up to Yahoo TV about her real-life relationship with her onscreen boyfriend Shane Harper:

"We knew each other for a while, were friends for a long time. And I think it was just one of those things where it kind of gradually turned into more. I think it's great that we knew each other for so long beforehand, so we were really friends...I think everybody was very respectful about it and wanted to make sure that it wouldn't be weird to see the relationship going on on the show at the same time. It was wonderful the way that everybody was kind of a family and looked out for each other."
