President Barack Obama stumbled on one word during the ceremonial swearing in this on January 21, 2013. He was unable to pronounce "states" properly. Fortunately, everything else in the program went smoothly including his inaugural speech that took place today as well.
Entering his second term of presidency, President Obama and his family followed through with the traditions. Following the oath of office and its programs, the Inauguration Parade took place early afternoon. Tonight, the highly anticipated Official Inaugural Ball will be filled with performances by the top artists of today.
This inaugural events will continue with The Inaugural National Prayer Service tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. EST.
