A talent that was signed at the formative age of 16, Kate Bush took the stage at The Hammersmith in London for the first time in 35 years (since May 14, 1979, to be exact) and performed a studded 22-song set that featured her LP Hounds of Love, B-sides of Aerial and a few other choice selections.
The opening show in London was tinged with a bit of theatrics.
Earlier this month we wrote about a request issued by Bush to her adoring fans that they turn of the phones and experience the music. A request that didn't go unnoticed by any new outlet on in the Internet.
Thus, video and photographic evidence of the concert is scarce but we were able to locate some media via the good people at Slicing Up Eyeballs.
Below is a set list from the concert and a short video from 666MOWZER.
