Sugar Ray Leonard Celebrates 21-Year Anniversary After Hip Hop/R&B Star Luncheon For Charity Donates Boxing Lessons

After donating boxing lessons at a charity luncheon sponsored by hip hop/R&B star Usher, Sugar Ray Leonard ultimately drew a bid of $25,000 earlier this month. The legendary boxer offered the winner photo ops with Leonard and his gold medal from the 1976 Olympics. Recently, he and his wife Bernadette celebrated their 21-year anniversary.

At singer Usher's annual charity luncheon, held earlier this month, master-of-ceremonies Ludacris quipped that top bidders would get more than they bargained for (via Page Six):

"'They'll give you $1,000 [each] to go to Sugar Ray Leonard's house, so you'll get your money back,' the rapper joked."

When not patronizing wealthy donors, Leonard takes his wife of 21 years out to dinner and buys her nice gifts to celebrate their anniversary.

TMZ caught the couple celebrating in Brentwood last week, and wifey was in such a good mood! It took a while to get her to open up about her gifts (via TMZ):

"At first, Bernadette plays coy ... but ultimately spills the beans about the badass (and super thoughtful) gift Leonard gave her to celebrate the occasion."

Leonard gave his wife a bracelet with her father's birthstone on it, who shared his birthday with their anniversary. Isn't that sweet?

Neither would comment on the price tag, however.
