Terrorist ISIS Lizard Squad Tweet Attack On Microsoft Xbox Live After PlayStation Network Hack Allegations

Lizard Squad, the terrorist ISIS linked hacker group who has taken responsibility for this weekend’s attack on the PlayStation Network, has now set their site on Microsoft’s Xbox Live network. However, Lizard Squad may have not been the hackers that took down PSN. Anonymous hacker FamedGod has released a video, taking credit for the hack.

Lizard Squad has promoting an attack on Microsoft, with a string tweets:

“Let's test this new equipment shall we?

“How's Xbox Live doing?”

“Patchy coverage on both XBL and PSN ;)”

The followed all this up with a message that read:

“Currently planting flag in XBL's upstream with an AK47 #ISIS #jihad #IS.”

This is very similar to message about this past weekend’s PlayStation hack, where they said:

“Today we planted the ISIS flag on @Sony's servers #ISIS#jihad pic.twitter.com/zvqXb2f5XI”

However, the toll on Xbox’s network has been minimal (at the time of this report at least). This could prove that Lizard Squad was not the ones behind the attack. Anonymous hacker, FamedGod has stepped up to take credit for the attack by releasing a video:

In the video FamedGod talks about Microsoft, writing:

“Welcome followers and supporters of FamedGod. Over the past 9 hours many are wondering why such events have occurred to the playstation network. Sony is a company that lacks the security which makes every user vulnerable to having their information leaked. Jailbreaks can access hidden and prohibited content now. Memory dumping can reveal the hidden servers which personal and main information is stored. Simple hex converting and decryption lead to a full DDoS on playstations main server data center. Please understand, I am here to show, that you as a corperate company are vulnerable. Sony You just launched a new system on a new network but it all leads to the same server. How more vulnerable could you make your network? Take advise from microsoft and their ways of security. They know what they're doing and have the security to prevent most attacks. This took little to no effort to preform such an attack.
