Dean Ambrose Still Missing After Beat Down From Seth Rollins? Lumberjack Match At WWE SummerSlam Did Not End Feud

According to the WWE storyline, Dean Ambrose is still missing after taking a serious beat down from Seth Rollins and Corporate Kane on Monday Night Raw last week. The Authority members lay Ambrose's head on top of a stack of cinder blocks and performed a Curb Stomp on the man now known as the Lunatic Fringe. Though Ambrose and Rollins threw down at SummerSlam in a Lumberjack Match, they clearly did not end their feud which grew out of Rollins' betrayal of his brothers in the Shield.

After a great match at SummerSlam, Ambrose and Rollins squared off again the next night on RAW. Kane later came out and the two double-teamed Ambrose and beat the crap out of him. Now, according to the storyline, Ambrose is missing after he refused treatment and escaped from the arena. Triple H says we should not expect to ever see him again (via Cage Side Seats):

"He ran. What does that sound like? He tucked his tail between his legs and he ran because he is what Seth Rollins has always said: he's unstable. What do you call him? The Lunatic Fringe, wooo, he's out there, right? He's smart enough to know when it's done, he's smart enough to know when it's over, he's smart enough to know when he's lost and there is no hope."

In real life, it's much more likely that Ambrose is taking time out to film his new movie, Lockdown. The writing for their feud has been exceptional, but I hope they don't lose momentum while Ambrose is out. Given the explosive chemistry they've demonstrated, however, these two former partners will probably pick up right where they left off, stronger than ever.
