‘Sharknado 2’ Beats ‘Game of Thrones’ on Twitter: Tara Reid Anorexic Instagram Body Frightens Fans [PHOTO NEWS]

Will the SyFy channels Sharknado 2: The Second One never cease to change people's minds about what a terribly awful horror movie is capable of achieving. According to the Nielsen Social Guide, the cable movie sequel even beat out HBO's Game of Thrones' infamous "Red Wedding" episode for Twitter involvement. Equally shocking to some fans was Sharknado 2 star Tara Reid's appearance in a recent Instagram bikini post. According to the latest gossip news updates, the social media pic sparked renewed concern over the America Pie beauty's seemingly anorexic frame.

Proving that we have not seen the last of the Sharknado franchise or the untold spoofs it will doubtlessly inspire, word has come down from on high that even the most epic of Game of Thrones episodes is no match for the audience drawing power of man vs. beast vs. nature fueled carnage.

According to Ad Week, not even the soul shattering silent ending of "The Red Wedding" could stir up anywhere near the social media participation of a Sharknado premiere:

"The episode of HBO's Game of Thrones entitled 'The Red Wedding' was a social phenomenon.

"But The Red Wedding was small potatoes compared to the social media response to Syfy's Sharknado 2: The Second One, which generated 580,942 tweets compared to 255,243 for the Game of Thrones episode, according to stats from the Nielsen Social Guide."

In related news, fans of Sharknado starlet Tara Reid, who didn't realize that she has been seemingly withering away over the last decade, were reportedly shocked at Tara's latest Instagram bikini pic captioned, "#unzipme".

A supposed insider explained to OK! Magazine for their September 1, issue that despite being told by everyone that she looks like an albino Slim Jim, Reid is hell bound and determined to live her life the way she sees fit:

"Tara is very thin...her legs look like they belong to a little girl.

"She may need help...[but] Tara is strong willed and won't listen to anyone."

Well...in Tara's defense: She has looked like beef jerky in a bathing suit for years. So, why get upset now?
